Hi, I’m Jane. I’m British. Glad to meet you.

I make connections. I build and nurture relationships. I believe customers are citizens.

I’m crazy about people and believe success happens when we create lasting relationships with our customers and allow them to be part of our brand, and our culture. The Internet has made connecting with our customers incredibly easy, however, its now much harder to build long lasting loyalty and friendship. Building deep rooted connections is my passion.

I was a founding member of the first Internet success story in the UK: Jungle.com, an early rival to Amazon. I brought a US software company to Europe and facilitated a merger for another. I founded a marketing consultancy practice, and an art gallery bringing young British artists to Central Europe. I drove Sotheby’s.com forward, and headed up the Computers and Gaming business unit at eBay in the UK, later working on refocusing seven collectibles categories.

In 2007 I began working for Mozilla based in Berlin and London where I built the European Marketing team and operations. I am now creating and heading up the Global User Engagement group, where I work with an incredibly talented team of people dedicated to developing 1:1 relationships with 450 million Firefox users around the world. I write and speak about creating force multipliers to generate highly leveraged marketing, and believe one can find advantage and power regardless of position, budget and resource.

I live with my husband Pascal, our horse & two dogs in sunny California. When not working you can find me riding my horse in the Saratoga mountains, and trying not to collect any more art!
